Two 1800’s-era Creole townhouses are transformed into a boutique hotel on New Orleans’ iconic Frenchmen Street.
Impetus (formerly Palmisano) served as the Design-Build contractor to lead the historic renovation and conversion of two adjoining 1800s-era Creole townhouses and a three-story service building into a boutique hotel on Frenchman Street. Impetus also constructed a new, three-story stair tower as well as a single-story fire pump room.
Completed in 2017, this 19-room hotel is now equipped with a new kitchen, bar and conference/dining room. Improvements to the courtyard enhance the architectural features and historic millwork. Additional exterior site improvements include a fountain, landscape planters, a slate tile courtyard, new perimeter fence, a pool and off-street parking.
