Impetus delivers the historic renovation and conversion of a former orphanage into a boutique hotel in New Orleans’ Lower Garden District.
Kupperman Companies engaged Impetus (formerly Palmisano) as the Design-Assist contractor for the meticulous historic renovation and new construction of Hotel Saint Vincent, a 74-room boutique hotel. Situated on Magazine Street in New Orleans’ Lower Garden District, the campus includes five historically designated buildings that once served as an orphanage and most recently a hostel.
The project includes a newly constructed event space, a well-designed courtyard with lush landscaping, cabana and new
swimming pool area, and onsite parking. Designed by Metro Studio, this 71,500-square-foot luxury hotel was completed in 2021.
This incredible transformation earned the Impetus team an ABC National Eagle Award for its complexity, attractiveness, unique challenges overcome, completion time, workmanship, innovation, safety, and cost.
